Due to unfortunate circumstances we are down to two full time instructors . We are trying our very best to reduce our waiting list and appreciate the patience shown by current clients and those on the waiting list. We will make contact as soon as we have spaces.

Current costs for Driving Tests are :

Weekdays £62. Evenings &Weekends £75

Extended Tests £124 and £150

An updated version of the Driving Theory Test App is available for £4.99 on Android and IOS. The existing app can be updated if you have it already.

The best way to know the rules is to read a genuine Highway Code or other approved road safety material.

Changes to the Driving Test Appointment Service

The number of times a driving test appointment can be changed has been reduced from 10 times to 6. Any one who changes a test date more than 6 times will have to cancel it and rebook.

Changes to cancellation times for driving tests are being planned, nothing definite as yet.

At present if a driving or theory test is cancelled within the 3 day short notice cancellation period no automatic refund or rearrangement will be made and the test fee will be lost unless the client is:

ill or injured

affected by a bereavement

needs to take an exam

has had their driving licence stolen.

Remember Sundays and bank Holidays do not count as working days when cancelling.

“Dora really is an excellent instructor. I booked a 10 hour block of lessons with her, and only 2-3 lessons in, she already taught me twice as much as my previous instructor had in 5. She's very safety conscious and astute, but also friendly, calm and never puts too much pressure on me as a learner. She also has a number of theory materials to help aid understanding of things like hazard perception and planning manoeuvres.
