DRIVING LESSONS
On your first lesson, you and your instructor will start to plan your journey to passing your test.
Typically before your lesson you'll receive a confirmation text including the time and date, and a reminder to bring your provisional driving licence. Please use the GOV.UK site www.gov.uk/viewdrivinglicence to allow you to share your licence information with your Instructor, before your first lesson. When we meet, you will be taken to a safe location to start your training.
From there it's about listening, learning and benefitting from our years of coaching experience. We use dual-controlled cars which means all instructors have a set of pedals in the passenger footwell which they can use if necessary.
We are committed to the safety of all drivers, particularly new, younger drivers. For this reason, we were proud to be participants in the' Learn Safe Drive Safe' Scheme promoted by Sheffield City Council Road Safety Officers.
REFRESHER COURSE
Refresher driving lessons are available for those who wish to restart driving after a long or short break. Whether you need a complete refresher driving course or just a few refresher lessons, we’ll make sure you’re confident and competent when driving.
Whatever your experience, we’ll tailor the refresher driving lessons to suit you.
MOTORWAY LESSONS
Motorway driving can be intimidating. We can help you feel safer and more confident by offering a three-hour motorway lesson.
The motorway lesson will cover all aspects of motorway driving including safe manoeuvres, driving at speed plus dealing with slip roads and service stations.
THEORY TEST
Before you can book a practical driving test, you must have the certificate to show that you have passed the DVLA’s theory test.
We’ll do all we can to help you with this and we will direct you to a number of free online theory tuition content. This will allow you access at your leisure via your own PC / laptop. and there's lots of useful information to make you think and keep you safe!
Whichever route you choose an up to date Highway Code book is essential to safe and informed driving. Any good bookshop or places like WH Smith's can help

The driving theory test is a ‘touch screen’ computer-based test. You will be asked 50 multiple-choice questions, with a time limit of 40 minutes in which to answer them.
The minimum pass mark is 43. The Hazard perception test consists of a number of video clips. A score of at least 43 out of 75 is required to pass. You can find some sample driving theory tests on our ‘Links’ page.
The driving theory test costs £23 and you should only book through the official site. The theory test pass certificate is valid for 2 years from date of passing.
